Cube-Mapping on glass surface

At first my intend was to include a video about cube-mapping. However, for now I'll stick with a few images and create a video later.


Cube-mapping + alpha texture + composite light.

The cube-map (skyline of seattle) will soon be replaced by an at runtime created cubemap of its surroundings, creating more realistic reflections.

Without the stain texture applied.

Lighting test. Single pointlight having its effect on glass windows. (no stain applied, so its a bit hard to see) both windows share the same lighting information. Still the left window seems to blend in quite nicely.
