Asset (Pre)viewer

I'm currently working on a separate project file to easily import and preview assets. I'd like to know what kind of options/features you guys (Artists) like to have included. (Add your "Feature request" in the comments)

So far:
- Easy camera setup.
- Orbit around asset.
- Auto rotating asset.
- Preset lighting setups (indoor/outdoor/custom)
- Easy material editing (Through sunburn editor)

I will explain all the import/setup requirements (like texture properties inside of VisualStudio) this Friday.

If you'd like to see anything else added, leave your comment below and I'll see what I can do.

I've read the comments and most of that is currently in working order.

Image of the Sunburn Editor. This is where you'll setup your material properties as well as HDR/Bloom/Light setups.

The previewer is almost done. All you need to do is type in the model name you'd like to preview and run it. Everything is explained in the comments and should be very straightforward. Luckily almost everything you need is already built-in the Sunburn editor... :) Texture Compression and VisualStudio itself (adding models and setting the correct processor) will be explained in person on Friday.

    2. Specular amount
    3. Normal map amount
    4. Diffuse on/of
    5. Bloom/HDR settings
    6. Import 1024 and 512 and 256 textures at once, then change them up or down individually by pressing hotkeys.
    7. Auto tile over a given direction with input for amount of distance between instances

  2. Nice one tom, the only thing i'd like to see added is a hide all UI button and a shortcut to bring the UI back.

  3. The "G"-key toggles between GameMode (HDR/Bloom enabled) and editor view.
