WIP HUD

Pretty much finished HUD :)

Has Dpad weapon switching, ammo feedback, fullscreen blood effect and timers next to the reticule that kan be hooked up to any variable in the game.

It might be a bit hard to see from the vid, but I hooked up the left timer to the players health to test the effect.

Also in the center of the arena you can see an objective marker with distance. Will do the trick of showing the player where to go. Its not bug free though, its also visible when you turn your back to it ;) Will fix!

  1. I'm not assuming anything is final, however the center progress bars are really blocking the view at the moment. Currently, the bars have a nontransparent background, I think making it transparent would be slightly better.

    Overall the HUD seems to be progressing quite rapidly, which is great.

  2. It's... uh... functional... ish. It needs some art-love and a serious case of make it more compact or less obtrusive. It does work though, so congrats!

    PS. the thing showing up when looking the opposite way can be fixed easily by checking if the z-depth is above or below 0.

  3. Ill make the timers transparent, at least the part that is basically an empty bar. Also, even though it looks like its obstructing view, while playing I didnt really feel it to be in the way at all. Test it for yourself on monday :)

    And thanks for the tip rami, ill fix that on monday also.
